In 2015, Te Papa Tongarewa put on an exhibitionin collaboration with Air New Zealand, commemorating the airline's 75th anniversary. For the exhibition, Human Dynamo fabricated the two main immersive installations for these exhibits. The first one was a replica of the interior of a 1940's Solent Aquaplane; the second took the public into the future of passenger jets. We created a 'future plane' in which the visitors could experience virtual reality with occulus rift head sets, sitting in custom made chairs. The exhibition was later expanded and went on to show at the Auckland War Memorial Museum.
